Toby Williams is a comedy writer/performer, actor and voice actor living in London.

As the character act Dr George Ryegold he won ‘Best Show’ at The Leicester Comedy Festival 2011 with ‘The Ordeal of Dr Ryegold’ which also had sell-out shows and was a Scotsman ‘Hot Pick’ in Edinburgh 2010.

At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011 Toby co-wrote and starred in the sell-out show ‘The Fudge Shop’, winning a Three Weeks Editors’ Award.

Toby’s debut Edinburgh 2009 show ‘Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead’ was nominated for The Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality.

He regularly performs stand-up in the top clubs around London and the UK and has appeared on stage in various pieces for The Comedians’ Theatre Company and at The Canal Cafe Theatre and played several roles in Mark Watson’s ‘The Hotel’ at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009.

Toby has been a voice actor for over ten years and recently voiced the character of Rumple The Rhino in CBeebies’ Iconicles as well as voicing promos for Universal, Watch, Dave and TalkSPORT.

Toby has written for Radio 4′s ‘The Headset Set’ and as Dr George Ryegold for Erotic Review Magazine and for Channel 4′s ‘This Just In’ topical website.
